Memory is formed when we are deep in thought. For instance, when we mindlessly pick up some under- wear and go out, sometimes we realize that we have no idea what we are wearing. On the other hand, mem- ory formed in thought lasts for a while. I wanted to express this moment of forming memory. The ceiling represents the future; the oor, the past. Where we are standing now is the present. In this space lled up with the present time, there is a pillar that con- nects the past and the future. The pillar is a thing that supports the space. It connects the ceiling and the oor, and at the same time, is a bridge at which they can meet each other. This is a result of the vis- ualization of time. And the act of tying with a string implies the process of forming memory, the moment at which memory is formed. By tying up the moment at which the memory was sealed, I store the moment.
