Room

How to remind someone to something?

Some words that evoked him make me an eyeless statue in the soul.

The space hides some kind of memories that can be precious or worthless.

“Before it fades” (Joseph Cornell, Diary entry, 1954) – I should like to leave artworks behind the memory fading because of presentment in mind and holding at the moment before it vanishes. Each room has memories. These things come into being and pass away.

The Room changes from vivid color to achromatic color, which means that memory become faint over time. The rooms have different size and color, which means importance of me. If it is more important for me, the room will be much bigger and vivid than others.

And the door is a memory coming up suddenly like a visitor.

A frame is a device that designates the moment of memory, is a visualization of the door and an expression that this is art. As if putting a painting into a frame, I wanted to put my work into the frame embroidered with the picture called memory.
